GREEN HUMMUS

Hummus is great with everything, hummus on toast, hummus and pita…the list goes on.  Make your own hummus with an extra dose of powerful greens! 

Top tip: It’s super important to cook the chickpeas before blending as this helps to give you a smooth texture!

The Ingredients:

  • 1 can of drained chickpeas
  • ½ tsp baking powder 
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp GREEN SALT. 
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 1 Lemon

The Method: 

  1. Add the chickpeas and baking powder to a saucepan and cover with boiling water. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. 
  2. Drain and rinse in cool water to reduce temperature
  3. Once cooled add chickpeas to the blender/ food processor with olive oil, GREEN SALT. tahini and the juice of a lemon. 
  4. Blend until smooth
